Pool pumps
Pool pumps provide an essential service to the water distribution system of any pool. Pumps work together with pool filters to constantly circulate pool water, drawing out debris and keeping water moving.
Pool pumps are simply constructed of an electric-powered motor using AC voltage, tubing, and sometimes a timer system. Pool size and pump efficiency must be carefully compared and matched up for optimal operation.
Taking time to research and evaluate pool pumps is important to the energy consumption and overall water quality in the pool. Selecting one is usually best left to the professional pool builder.
